hello, it is i once more, this time i was trying to get assasins creed black flag so i can admire the character and ship models, but when i select the games .exe executable, it tells me "please select a valid file" i have tried various other methods of getting assasins creed black flag to work - the only thing of note is that when i select the Uplay executable, as in, to launch uplay, not the game, then it seems to work, but trying to extract anything results in the same problem i had with aliens fire team, it says done and there is nothing there am i doing somthing wrong with black flag?

my game is steam, nearly every game i play and or use in this forum will be steam unless i specifically mention it being somthing like origin (big steam fan)

well i really like the models and such of halo 2, but i had a feeling it would have been somthing along the lines of "it's a big chunk of data, we'll patch out the bumps in the future" thank you for taking the time to read my post though

for me when trying to extract from star wars battlefront 2 i suffer the same problem as aliens fireteam; it says 'done' but nothing happens

i recently tried to extract from dead space 2 but it gives me an error "failed to execute script VISCERAL"

it is aliens fireteam, i have tried extracting from the games content folder as is; no luck i have tried moving the output folder to a different disk; no luck i have tried leaving the output folder in the main game folder; no luck i have tried moving all the files in the content folder to a different disk and extracting from there; no luck i have tried moving the executable to the same different disk; no luck i have tried removing all but the content folders that have the most disk usage in them; no luck i do not know what i am doing wrong

i seem to be having the exact same problem, and my 'input' folder is the content folder in the game where the pak files are located. did this problem get solved or are we still waiting on it?
